是誰讓柏林的洪堡論壇博物館日復一日保持清潔安全、光鮮亮麗?
大博物館的第一線工作人員有哪些內心小劇場?
這些日常跟身為訪客的我們有什麼關係?

2024年上半年,原型樂園受柏林的洪堡論壇博物館(Humboldt Forum)邀請,參與「Humboldting!青少年五年計劃」,帶領當地Thomas Mann Gymnasiums中學二十餘位15歲學生,一同探索上述問題的答案,並在學期末時以導覽式表演《鴿子、草莓、一些兩難——一場好玩的語音導覽》,和博物館訪客分享他們的發現。

這是「Humboldting!青少年五年計劃」的第六個單元。學生街訪博物館的參觀民眾,與第一線的工作人員(保全、餐廳、商店、觀眾服務、總務技工)訪談聊天,並在當地教學藝術家協助執行的長期工作坊中,聚焦討論他們對第一線人員的同理,並聯想與自己的切身關係。

表演時,青少年學生化身為導遊,以他們的觀點,帶著訪客在館內趴趴走。無論是路線引領、音檔播放、串場銜接、觀眾互動、遊戲鋪陳、道具設置等重要動作,都由學生們挑起大樑分工完成。

對參與表演的訪客而言,這是一次不同於以往的博物館參觀經驗,他們要走、要看、要聽,有時也要玩遊戲、被青少年訪問。聽到的導覽內容不再是館藏文物的介紹,而是館內各角落與訪客近距離接觸的第一線工作者的心聲,剪接自青少年學生和工作者的訪談錄音,以及學生對工作者的觀察描述。

聲音故事裡有每日在工作場域上演的酸甜苦辣、心理拉鋸、兩難判斷,有時也反映出大眾對這個爭議性十足的博物館的看法。觀眾與學生導遊在輕鬆又認真的互動遊戲中,交流彼此對於故事背後意義的想法。

Who ensures big museums remain clean, safe, and sparkling every day?
What is “das Kopfkino” (theatre of the mind) of the frontline museum staff?
And how are their daily experiences related to us as visitors?


In the first half of 2024, Prototype Paradise was invited by the Humboldt Forum Museum to devise and implement the 6th module of Humboldting!, a 5-year youth project hosted by the HF. Together with 20 some students of the Thomas Mann Gymnasium, the artists and its Taiwanese colleagues based in Germany ventured into the everyday drama of the frontline workers in the Humboldt Forum.

Starting from collecting museum visitors’ questions towards the unseen players, the students interviewed the staff from departments of security, restaurants, shops, visitor services, and house maintenance. Students processed the encounters into sounds and stories, while relating to their own life and observations.

​Outcomes of this joint adventure were shared in the audio-walk performances led by students on June 28 and 29, 2024, titled as Pigeons, Strawberries, and Some Dilemmas -- A Fun Audio Tour. In the performance, the students took on full responsibilities of all the guiding tasks, leading visitors around the museum. This time, the tour did not focus on the museum's collections, but instead, featured staff members' everyday stories and students’ observations and descriptions.

​Visitors walked, looked, listened to stories about daily challenges and difficult decisions, sometimes played games with the students, or got interviewed by the students. Through enjoyable yet thoughtful interactive games, visitors shared their reflections on the meaning carried by those stories, and completed the performance together with the youths.  ​
